The corporate sportsman are coming for their annual competition to the Trave: The "Corporate sport championship Marathon and Half-marathon". They will experience a fantastic event around the Holstentor. The 10 x 4.2km relay will be one of the highlights. Here, the organization team expects more than 140 teams.

Corporate sports re-attaches utmost importance in Germany. Many companies commit themselves in this field. Hence, corporate sports exceeds the outdated "employee sports day". The corporate sports state association Schleswig-Holstein and the Lübecker Marathon e.V. have been discussed the idea of such a competition in Lübeck some time ago. "We are glad, that the sport fans in Lübeck invite the us to compete in their town", says Stephan Samkow (1. president of the association). On the other hand, Klaus Ziele and his team feel honored for Lübeck to be the host city of this year's competition. "Consequently, the Stadtwerke Lübeck Marathon will be getting more and more popular", happily says Klaus Ziele.
